​CW Technologies is the culmination of a lifelong journey in sound, technology, and design for founder Carlos Warlick,
Carlos began his career immediately after high school in Los Angeles. Being laser focused on his goals, he landed a job at the legendary Encore Studios on Burbank, Ca. working his way from “chief coffee maker and bathroom cleaner” and later top 2nd engineer - to becoming a highly recognized, award-winning recording engineer. Over a 12-year career in the music industry, he collaborated in the studio with artists and creators as legendary and diverse as Tupac Shakur, Quincy Jones, Whitney Houston, Dr. Dre, Peter Cetera, and Ice Cube. He also was one of the original Deathrow staff engineers and responsible for helping craft the sound and capture the vocals on the Grammy nominated "ALL EYEZ ON ME" by 2pac, which sold over 10 million copies, and since been ranked by critics as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time. Known for his relentless work ethic — often 100-hour weeks assisting world-class producers and engineers — Carlos built a reputation for precision, artistry, an easy to work with personality, and passion for excellence that resulted him a body of work that exceeds over 30 million record sales.
After starting a family & having his first child, and as the recording industry shifted toward smaller, laptop-based studios, Carlos redirected his expertise in sound and electronics into the world of luxury and exotic automobiles. In 2005, he founded CW Motorsports in Studio City, Ca., delivering hundreds of bespoke high-end audio systems and electronic upgrades that were always ahead of the curve. . As 12-volt specialists, the company became trusted by both local enthusiasts and professional audiophiles for unmatched design and craftsmanship.
A decade later, Carlos once again recognized an opportunity. While visiting clients’ homes to deliver their completed vehicles , he noticed a common frustration: poorly designed and improperly installed AV and automation systems. Drawing on his deep roots in professional audio and electronics, he founded CW Technologies to raise the bar for home entertainment, smart automation, and luxury integration. Today, CW Technologies specializes in private theaters, advanced lighting control, motorized shading, whole-home AV systems, and much more.
Carlos and his team remain committed to continuous education, spending weeks each year training with global manufacturer partners to stay ahead of emerging technologies. This dedication, combined with his unique foundation in professional audio, recording, and electronics, sets CW Technologies apart as a leader in luxury home integration.
